Use the official event name
The official announcement names the Pioneer Playtest and states its October dates. The Steam store separately offers access requests for the playtest. Neither saved source should be rewritten as a confirmed globally open beta announcement.
Why a historical review can cause confusion
DuskTheViking's September 12, 2025 review calls the event a beta and mentions the fourteenth. The development team's official retrospective identifies the September 2025 event as Closed Alpha. These different labels are preserved as an official description and a historical creator's phrasing, rather than merged into a new current test date.
Eligibility still has boundaries
The Pioneer announcement states North America and selected European countries. It also says prior Closed Alpha participants are already invited. An unrestricted worldwide beta, a full country list and an exact future beta schedule are Not confirmed.
