March of Giants Gameplay — Facts and Unknowns
March of Giants gameplay combines controlling a Giant, commanding Soldiers and deploying Battleworks in a four-versus-four MOBA. The current Steam description supports those three systems. Detailed current match rules and exact control sequences are Not confirmed by the historical gameplay transcripts alone.

Soldiers are part of your control
The store says Soldiers can be rallied from advancing waves and brought between lanes. It lists scouting, resource collection, enemy attacks and objective capture among their uses. Those are official system descriptions, not evidence that a particular route is always optimal.
Battleworks change the battlefield
The store lists trenches, giant slayer bunkers, cavalry and soldier drops as Battleworks examples. Their described roles include creating choke points and reinforcing objectives. The collected material does not provide a current numerical cost table or an optimal placement sequence.
Historical commentary versus current rules
The Brother Light and Kraken recordings contain commentary from the September 2025 Alpha. They offer examples of player thinking, but subtitles cannot independently show what happened on screen. The newer developer statement reports expanded Soldiers, Battleworks interaction, map control and itemization, so those old examples remain version-limited.
What still needs direct gameplay evidence
Current keybindings, exact victory conditions and detailed map routes are Not confirmed in this source set. No current gameplay video was verified frame by frame for this page. The safe overview is therefore the official three-system description, with historical commentary clearly separated.
